Man charged with 2020 Fresno murder of Anthony Romero, suspect arrested for another murder last week – Fresno, California

Fresno, CA (KFSN)-More than a year after Anthony Romero’s murder, Fresno police announced the arrest of a man who believed he was responsible.

Abel Tello was charged with Romero’s death.

Anthony Romero was found dead on June 28, 2020 at North Park Apartments off Show Avenue on Backer Avenue.

Investigators determined that Romero had been dead for several days, and his death was later sentenced to murder.

According to court documents, Tello shot Romero.

Investigators said the video provided multiple hints to police and helped move the case forward.
