Man dies after being rescued from house fire in Cheswick – Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

A man in Allegheny County died after being rescued from a house fire on Friday night, according to coroners. The fire was reported Friday at 1400 blocks on Pittsburgh Street in Cheswick Autonomous Region before 8 pm. The fire brigade responded to the scene where it discovered a fire in the building at work. Internally, the first responder found and released the man in the second story. The man was identified by a coroner as Cheswick’s 54-year-old Darryl Joseph Hamley. Hamley was taken to UMPC St. Marguerite Hospital and later died of an injury. Coroners have not yet identified the cause or method of Hamley’s death. The fire department is investigating the cause of the fire.
