Man Dies After Being Shot In The Strip District – CBS Pittsburgh – Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Pittsburgh (KDKA) — A man shot in the head on Sunday night died in the Strip, Pittsburgh police say.

According to police, a sniper detection system warning sent police officers to Penn Avenue after 9 pm last night.

They found the victim carrying a gunshot wound on his head. Emergency personnel rushed him to the hospital in crisis.

But police now say he died shortly after he arrived there.

His name and age have not yet been announced.

Pittsburgh police are investigating.
