Frankfort, Kentucky — Saturday after police said a man in Frankfort, Kentucky had placed his disabled wife in the front seat of a truck for five consecutive days after asking him to be taken to a hospital. Was arrested for criminal abuse.

A nurse at the Franklin Community Medical Center told police that the victim came to his hospital on Saturday with her husband, 51-year-old Michael Redmon.

According to criminal accusations, hospital staff had to call Frankfort EMS to assist in lifting the victims off the truck.

EMS noticed that she stuck to her seat when they started helping her because the victim had been left on the truck for so long.

Victims said her husband, who relied on her to be a caretaker, left her on the truck since last Monday.

She repeatedly asked her to be taken out of the truck, but Redmon said she refused to take her to the hospital or take her out of the truck.
