Man injured in shooting at Nashboro Village gas station – Nashville-Davidson, Tennessee

Nashville, Tennessee (WTVF) —Metro Nashville Police investigated a shooting that sent a man to a hospital on Tuesday night.

The shooting was reported around 11:45 pm. At Exxon / 7-Eleven on Smith Springs Road near the corner of Bell Road in Nashboro Village.

Police said a man in his twenties was found injured in a black car at the scene. He is expected to be taken to a local hospital to survive the injury.

Investigators on the scene said they were looking for up to two suspects. They believe they may have been injured in the shooting, but escaped from the scene.

Police are investigating whether there was any exchange of shootings. There were at least 12 evidence markers on the ground when crime scene investigators collected evidence early Wednesday morning.

Some of the Seven-Eleven glass windows shattered.

Investigators said there was no motive for shooting at this time. No arrests have been made.
