Canton, Georgia — Convicted by a man accused of killing eight people and injuring a ninth in three massage and spa businesses in the Atlanta area. Robert Aaron Long’s plea in the Celloky County Court wants life imprisonment without parole for four shootings in the county. The judge is listening to the prosecutor on Tuesday morning explaining the details of the crime.
Long still faces the possibility of a death sentence if he is found guilty of killing four people at two Atlanta spas. In addition to the murder, allegations of shooting in Atlanta include domestic terrorism that strengthened hate crimes.
Six of the eight victims are Asian women and Long is white.
The 22-year-old boy reportedly signed a plea bargain admitting allegations in Cherokee County, including malicious murder and weighted assault.
The prosecution said it shot five people long at a Youngs Asian massage in Cherokee County around 5 pm on March 16.
Xiaojie “Emily” Tan, 49, died in Cherokee County. Daoyou Feng, 44; Delaina Yaun, 33; and Paul Michels, 54.
Atlanta’s victims at the two spas are: Soon Chung Park, 74; Hyun Jung Grant, 51; and Yong Ae Yue, 63 years old.
