Virginia Beach, Virginia (WAVY) — A man convicted of a deadly shooting in 2018 was sentenced to a maximum sentence for violating probation of a robbery conviction.

Judge James Lewis of the Circuit Court sentenced Andre El Bernard Bigby, 33, to up to 31 years in Virginia Department of Corrections for violating probation.

Later, the 30-year-old Big Bee was previously probated in another case convicted of robbery, gun use, kidnapping, conspiracy, and carrying hidden weapons. According to online court records, these accusations are due to the March 2006 case.

His probation was violated after he was convicted of first-class murder in the 2018 shooting death of 19-year-old Jayln Harris. Harris was found dead in a car at 700 blocks on 16th Avenue in Virginia Beach.
