Virginia Beach, Virginia (WAVY) —A man was found guilty and convicted of possessing firearms on school grounds prior to a September High School football game in Virginia Beach. ..

Shaguille Felton, 30, pleaded guilty on Monday for possessing firearms on school grounds and possessing firearms while receiving a protection order.

He was sentenced to two years each and was suspended all the time except for about three months he was already in prison.

He needs to behave well for four years.

Two accusations against Felton Previously nolle was prossed or dropped: One charge for possession of firearms on school premises and another charge for deletion or change of vehicle serial number.

According to the police Nine illegally possessed weapons were confiscated on the school grounds of Salem High School on September 20, following reports of possible criminal activity in a football game that night... The gun was confiscated in the parking lot. According to police, police found firearms clearly visible in three separate vehicles parked on the school grounds.

Felton is one of four people charged in connection with the case.

The other two, who were charged in connection with the case, were scheduled to appear in court earlier this month for a preliminary hearing.

  • Demeron Shykeem Wright, 18, of Newport News, was charged with two charges of possessing firearms on school grounds and mounting firearms in banned areas.

Brian was convicted of concealed weapons and sentenced to two days in prison at a court hearing on November 19.

Wright’s hearing continued until December 9.

18-year-old Hasan Malik Washington of Virginia Beach has been charged with possessing firearms on school grounds. He was originally scheduled to appear in court for a preliminary hearing on November 18, but continued until January 27.
