Man shot, car damaged in ClarkCo neighborhood drive-by – Portland, Oregon

KOIN, Oregon — A man was shot in the foot while getting out of the car on his driveway on Friday night, the Clark County Sheriff’s Office said.

When the 911 caller reported being shot by a stranger who might be driving a red jeep, the agent responded to 100th Avenue Northeast at around 8:25 pm.

When they arrived, police officers found the man in his house with a gunshot wound on his leg. According to CCSO, the man was taken home as soon as he got out of the car and believed that the archer had fired at him.

Police also found a shell casing on the road and multiple ammunition holes on the roof, rear edge, and driver’s side of the victim’s car.

Witnesses reported red or orange SUVs or hatchbacks fleeing the neighborhood shortly after the shooting.

CCSO is leading the investigation and no further information has been released yet.
