Update (CBS46)-Police arrested In connection with the death of Catherine Khan after being expelled from a backhead vehicle on October 11.
31 year old monday Alfred Megburba crouched Entered Fulton County Prison and is currently facing fErony murder, theft, financial transaction card fraud, financial transaction card theft.
Police told CBS46 News that the case is now considered to have ended with an arrest.
Atlanta (CBS46)-A woman was killed overnight in Buckhead after being kicked out of a car at the intersection of Piedmont and Peachtree Road.
It happened around 11:00 pm on October 11th.
Upon arrival, police officers found the woman unconscious on the road. She was taken to the hospital but died of an injury. Preliminary research suggests that the woman may have been pushed or dropped from a moving vehicle. The driver apparently escaped from the scene.
She was identified as 28-year-old Catherine Lincoln, according to the Fulton County Medical Inspector’s Office.
CBS46 learned from Catherine Khan’s father that she was an organ donor. Her dad says the doctor told him they were able to save the two babies as a result.
Lovers described Khan’s personality as infectious. She was a backhead bartender known for making people feel welcome.
“She was able to make everyone laugh. She made everyone she met feel special, loved and important,” said friend Elizabeth Burel. “Unfortunately
In reality, she is no longer with us. That’s what we have to deal with now. “We just hope that justice will be provided to those who have done or caused this.”
At the age of 28, she was fighting to get her wallet back from someone who believed she had stolen it. According to a friend, it was her grandmother’s purse that died.
Witnesses reported seeing her get into the car, but said shortly after she was kicked out of the car.
