Oklahoma County (KFOR) – Oklahoma County lawmakers have arrested a man with a history of violent crimes currently charged with rape, assault, and assault.

James Darden, 46, has been detained at the Oklahoma County Detention Center on suspicion of one rape, assault and assault with a dangerous weapon, according to a news release from the Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Office issued Friday. ..

Sheriff office officials learned that Darden had previously been convicted of Oklahoma County. This included domestic violence and assault that he did not report to probation officers, thus violating probation. He was also convicted of robbery and kidnapping in North Carolina and was in a news release.

His bail was set at $ 65,000.
