Manitou Springs, Colorado — Bicycle users can now treat stop signs as stop signs and red lights as stop signs in Manitou Springs (if safe).

The Manitou Springs City Council was recently passed Ordinance number 1221, Adopted the 2020 model transportation code. Within this Code is Section 1412.5, which provides guidance that allows cyclists to safely stop at a stop sign and treat it as a stop sign.
