Manolo Blahnik This month, we returned to New York with a flagship store on Madison Avenue on the Upper East Side.
Located in a two-story space in the 1920s, the store was designed by award-winning interior designer David Thomas in collaboration with Manolo and Kristina Blahnik.
The location is inspired by the “Hollywood Regency” rethinked in a 21st century home, with classic marble floor details, walls decorated with hand-painted Regency-style stripes in the house’s distinctive color scheme, and large Classic pillars line the walls. Meanwhile, continuing the tradition of the brand’s original location, shoppers will find a functional bar offering a variety of non-alcoholic beverages that allow visitors to both shop and meet.
The flagship includes a collection of women’s and men’s brands, including exclusive capsules celebrating the designer’s admiration for New York. Rich in color and texture, this collection is inspired by American artist Tony Duquette and his interior. The result is a mixed collection that embodies relaxed elegance, perfect for New Yorkers.
The brand’s return to New York follows the closure of West 54th Street in Midtown Manhattan in 2019.
Most recently, the brand has opened a second new location in the Hamptons with a pop-up store at 52 Main Street in East Hampton. This intimate space offers a special selection of seasonal and iconic items from the brand’s ladies’ and men’s collections.
