The house floor drama unfolded when Marjorie Taylor Greene confronted Jamie Raskin and Liz Cheney and House voted. Criminal insult resolution against Steve Bannon..

The conversation with Green evolved into a “Jewish space laser” and a Georgia Republican accusing Maryland Democrat Ruskin of not investigating the violence in the Black Lives Matter protest.

“This is a joke,” Green said aloud to Wyoming Republicans Ruskin and Cheney.

Then Green approached and said directly to Ruskin, “Why don’t you care about Americans?”

Ruskin replied, “You represent Americans.”

A video on the house floor records Green approaching Ruskin and Chainy. The green waved his hand in the air, and at some point Chainy turned his finger back toward the green. In most cases, the rows of seats separated the three.

Chainy replied to Green as a “joke,” referring to previous Green comments on the Jewish space laser, according to sources familiar with the interaction.

“I didn’t say that!” Green yelled back at Chainy. “That’s it. You’re kidding, Liz. Your party rejected you.” When Green left the pair, she suggested: “Why don’t you investigate what is important to Americans?”

Green’s comments on Chainy were voted on by members of Freedom Caucus and Republican leaders, and from the right wing of Caucus, a Democratic-led committee investigating January 6.

After a quarrel, Ruskin told reporters, “She started screaming at Liz.”

Ruskin provided details after the fact, saying Green had asked him to investigate the violence surrounding the Black Lives Matter protest.

“What she said to me was,’When will we investigate the violence surrounding Black Lives Matter?'” And I said, “Two Black Lives Matter protesters. Like the Kyle Rittenhouse you killed? I’m sure we have the opportunity to reach it, “Ruskin said. “And, as you can imagine, it degenerated it from there.”

Ruskin elaborated on the enthusiastic exchange between Cheney and Green, who said, “About Jewish space lasers, etc., with former House Republican Conference chair Liz Cheney, some ancient beef. She seemed to have, and she denied that she had said so before, blaming it on the mainstream media. “
