Marlboro County, South Carolina (WBTW)-According to the Sheriff’s Office, lawmakers in Marlboro County arrested the man on Friday afternoon after a standoff that lasted about three hours.
Donald Robin Lee, 57, was arrested on an unpaid warrant from Orangeburg, the agent said. He has been charged with resistance to arrest, illegal possession of a sword-off shotgun, and possession of a gun by a person convicted of a violent felony. Congressman didn’t say what the unpaid warrant from Orangeburg was for.
Detectives from the Marlborough County Sheriff’s Office and the South Carolina Law Enforcement Department executed a search warrant on Billy Wallace Road in Wallace and arrested Lee on his unresolved warrant, the agent said.
Lee was finally arrested and found to be in possession of a sawed-off shotgun.
Lee is currently on probation for the 2019 incident in Orangeburg, the agent said. He is currently detained at the Marlboro County Detention Center and is waiting for a bond.
