Albuquerque, New Mexico (KRQE) – Former Robo basketball player JR Giddens and former Robo assistant coach Brandon Mason are fully committed to becoming former Robo player’s third All-Star game. The event will take place on July 11th in the pits. Giddens, the first round pick of the Boston Celtics from 2008, plays in the game while helping Mason organize it. Both said a lot about the event at Van Tate’s sports office.
Mason also talked with his ABQ basketball team about his project to make Albuquerque youth more recognized on the national stage. Giddens is heading for his first season as Head Girls Basketball Coach at Northern New Mexico College. He believes he has the talent to make his first year special.
