A 35-year-old Lakeville man was killed and a 28-year-old man in Rhode Island was killed in a crash on Fall River Tuesday afternoon, according to Massachusetts police.
The accident occurred on Tuesday at about 2:30 pm on Route 24 north at Fall River’s mile marker 0.8. The third driver was a 26-year-old man from Fall River who was not injured.
Based on a preliminary study, the Troopers will see the 2004 Ford F-250, driven by a 28-year-old man from Tiverton, Rhode Island, in the north-facing lane beyond the median in 2019. I think he was moving south when he collided with the Chevrolet Silverado of the ceremony. A 35-year-old man from Lakeville, a Chevrolet operator, was seriously injured in a collision and was confirmed dead at the scene.
A 28-year-old man driving Ford was taken to Rhode Island Hospital with an injury that seemed to be life-threatening. The 2018 GMC Terrain, driven by a 26-year-old man from Fall River, was also involved in the accident. No tow truck was needed as the operator could drive from the scene and the occupants were not injured.
The left lane to the south and the right lane to the north were closed for about two hours due to a collision under investigation by a unit within Massachusetts police. Troopers were on-site by Fall River Fire and EMS. I was supported.
No further information was immediately available.
