Omaha, Nebraska (KMTV) —Wednesday, Mayor of Omaha, Jean Stothert, announced nearly $ 60,000 in neighborhood grants to help people and businesses affected by the pandemic.
The total grant amount is $ 57,722 and will be distributed to neighborhood associations and local organizations that provide food and other relief.
Neighboring grants are awarded each spring, but were suspended in 2020 due to a pandemic. Another round of grants will be distributed later this year.
