McDonald’s On Wednesday, the chain’s crispy chicken sandwich reported double-digit sales at existing stores in the United States.
The company’s stock fell about 1% in pre-market transactions.
Based on an analyst survey by Refinitiv, the company reported:

Fast food giants reported second-quarter net earnings of $ 2.22 billion, or $ 2.95 per share, up from $ 483.8 million, or 65 cents per share, in the year-ago quarter.

In the International Development License Market segment, same-store sales were almost flat over the two years. In this sector, including Brazil and Japan, same-store sales were strong in all regions compared to a year ago.
Across McDonald’s top six markets, the company reported approximately $ 8 billion in digital revenue across the system in the first half of this year.
