Forty years after the release of his beloved “History of the World, Part I,” Mel Brooks has a sequel to his work.

The 95-year-old show business giant, of course, has signed a deal with Hulu in an eight-part sequel titled “History of the World, Part II.”

Brooks is one of the executive producers and writers, along with Nick Kroll, Wanda Sykes, Ike Barinholtz, David Stassen and Kevin Salter.

The original film featured Brooks as Moses and many of the performers who died afterwards, including Gregory Hines, Madeline Kahn, Harvey Korman, and Cloris Leachman.

according to Associated Press, Shooting should start by the end of next year.

“I can’t wait to tell the true truth again about all the fake Barony stories that the world believes to be history,” Brooks said in a statement via Hulu! AP reported.

The stars for the upcoming sequel have not been announced, the press reported.
