Nashville, Tennessee (WKRN) —Early Friday morning, a metro police officer was injured in a crash in South Nashville.
The crash occurred around 3:15 am near the intersection of Harding Place and Trousdale Drive.
Metro police reported that police were traveling in unmarked police cars when they collided with a pickup truck carrying construction equipment.
Police officers were taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center for evaluation, but it was reported that the police officer’s injury was not life-threatening. The other driver was not injured.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
