Nashville, Tennessee (WSMV) – Metro police have identified a man charged with murder in October.

Detectives are seeking the help of the general public to find 38-year-old Jashon Jerome Simmons in connection with the shooting of 52-year-old Marty Adkins.

After leaving a party or rally nearby on October 3, Adkins walked to Brick Church Pike’s house. Police said when he was shot multiple times at 3500 blocks on Moorewood Drive. ” Residents who placed the bodies of Adkins and others in the area “reported that they heard the shooting at about the same time.”

On Friday, police issued an arrest warrant for Simmons after the detective had been unable to find Simmons for the past few days.

Simmons is facing a criminal murder charge and anyone with information about him can call the crime stopper at 615-742-7463. Police said the caller could remain anonymous and receive the money.
