Nashville, Tennessee (WTVF) — The search for drivers and vehicles involved in a fatal hit-and-run accident in Nashville continues.
Metro Nashville police are looking for a dark mid-2000s Hyundai accent with some stickers on the rear bumper and trunk.
Police said the crash occurred on Saturday, June 12, at 300 blocks in Haywood Lane, killing 55-year-old Ronald K. Lindsey.
The driver was allegedly traveling west on Haywood Lane when he left the road for unknown reasons and hit Lindsey on the side of the road.
Lindsey died on the scene and authorities say there was no evidence that he was disabled.
The Hyundai driver may also have hit a large hole on the north side of Haywood Lane, damaging the passenger side. Vehicle parts were found on site.
Anyone who recognized the car from the attached surveillance photo or knew the driver was asked to call the crime stopper at 615-742-7463. Callers to crime stoppers remain anonymous and can qualify for cash rewards.
