Nashville, Tennessee (WTVF) — Mayor of Nashville, John Cooper’s goal was to vaccinate at least half of Davidson County’s population by May. That hasn’t happened yet, but the Metro Health Department finds the new program useful.

The Health Department provides the COVID-19 vaccine to home residents in Davidson County. They can choose either Pfizer or a single dose of Johnson & Johnson.

If you or your loved one is eligible, please email us Homebound.Vaccination@Nashville.gov.. You can also sign up by calling the COVID 19 Hotline 615-862-7777 Monday to Friday between 8 am and 5 pm.

They need your name, address, age, and you also need to say if you are affiliated with a home health care provider. Once everything is submitted, you will be able to sign up for your booking.

Currently, the Ministry of Health states that only about 35% of Davidson County is fully vaccinated.
