Portland, Oregon (KOIN) —Michael Wolf, who dumped his body in a secluded forest area of Yamhill County after finally admitting the murder of Carissa Fretwell and his three-year-old son Billy, was sentenced on Monday. Is sentenced.
Wolf pleaded guilty on Friday Just three years after the bodies of Carissa and Billy were discovered.. His plea removed the death penalty as a potential consequence.
It was determined that Carissa’s cause of death was a gunshot wound on her head. She was 25 years old.
Wolf, now 55, was Billy’s real father. According to court documents, Fretwell and Wolf were involved in a child support battle over Billy.
A friend told KOIN6 News that he threatened Fretwell when he learned that Wolf was pregnant. A friend added that Fretwell and Billy were kept secret from her wife and grown-up children.
Carissa and Billy went missing on May 13, 2019. They were reported missing four days later. Wolf was arrested on May 24, 2019 at the Blue Star Donuts in downtown Portland and has been in jail ever since.
