The show features 10 episodes of Obama, surrounded by dolls and friends, encouraging children to explore cooking and healthy eating. It was created in collaboration with a partnership for a healthier America.
Obama plays the owner of a supermarket that helps waffles and mochi want to be chefs. According to the show’s synopsis, they are helped by a magical flying shopping cart and of world-class ingredients to find what they need to cook “with famous chefs, home cooks, kids and celebrities”. This is the latest release from Higher Ground Productions, a production company for Barak and Michelle Obama, who signed a multi-year contract with Netflix in 2018.
