The first disturbing news yesterday evening The FBI, local police, and Lake County bombers were involved in law enforcement issues at the Perry Nuclear Power Plant. In the end it became an unreliable threat in that there were no bombs.
But a Michigan man who drove to the power plant claimed to have it.
He is currently arrested and charged with false alarms and exacerbated trespassing in Lake County.
According to officials, a 33-year-old Michigan man, Michael Fogelsong, drove a pickup truck with a trailer to a security gate and refused to leave the country saying he had a bomb on guards.
Thankfully, that wasn’t true.
“We want to guarantee to everyone that there are no ongoing or imminent threats to the Perry Nuclear Power Plant,” the Lake County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement. “This seems to be an isolated case.”
