Nashville, Tennessee (WTVF) — Nashville Opera has its own vehicle.

“Opera On Wheels” is a program centered on the mobile stage that brings performance to people.

“Here’s a small rotating jewelry box on the stage,” said John Houmes, CEO of Nashville Opera. “When we pull it up into a parking lot or street corner, the floods are generated and the whole thing opens like a big flower. What I can say is that it’s pretty cool and we’re glad we have it. think.”

Wednesday’s performance at Abe’s Garden Community included opera, Broadway and other blockbusters.

“I like performers, music, and the entire nine yards,” said resident Lorraine Coil.

Residents of the Abe Garden Community believe that the new mobile stage built by AeroBuild in East Nashville will be a hit.

“I thought it was great. It was a lot of fun,” said Judy Simmons looking from the balcony.

Performance depends on your surroundings.

“There are singing, chainsaws, and helicopters here, so it’s certain that you can play in this setting, unlike a stage in a controlled environment,” Hoomes said.

Opera On Wheels is planning several performances for the spring. For those who want to see the performance Sign up for the newsletter..
