Wichita, Kansas 2020-11-22 09:31:41 –
All of yesterday’s rain moved south and east, Kansas was almost dry and the clouds were clear.
Highs only reach late 40s and late 50s again this afternoon. Sunshine will return just a little this afternoon before the next storm system heads to the area.
The winds get stronger early on Monday morning and the rain begins west. For many, it’s a rainy and windy commute.
Then, on Tuesday, the front follows behind, causing widespread showers and storms. Especially in the south-central counties, there were one or two heavy thunderstorms on this front.
Tuesday / Wednesday storms have marginal risk issues.
At this time, the temperature will drop and you may see some snowflakes in the north. I don’t think there is much concern about snowfall as the temperature returns below freezing too soon.
We clean up on Wednesday and Thursday is almost dry for the holidays.
