More than 150 people walk together in Chowchilla to honor domestic violence victims – Fresno, California

Chowchilla, CA (KFSN)-An event honoring victims of domestic violence was successful in Chowchilla on Saturday morning.

The first “Walk In Your Cali-Jeans” in honor of Calley Jean was a huge success.

Over 150 people went to Wisener Park to participate in the 5K Walk-4-Domestic Violence Awareness.

Registration costs $ 20 for participants and all proceeds will be donated to the non-profit Beloved Survivors.

Carrie Jean was murdered last year by her divorced husband Julio Galai.

He was convicted of her murder last Tuesday.
