Morgan Stanley Workers and clients not vaccinated against Covid-19 were banned from returning to their offices in New York City and Westchester County from July 12, telling staff on Tuesday.
All Morgan Stanley staff in the New York Metropolitan Area must also prove their coronavirus vaccination status by July 1.
Employees who are not fully vaccinated need to continue working in remote areas, the company told workers on Tuesday.
This move, which allows Morgan Stanley to lift the requirement for office masks and physical distance, follows similar actions by other financial giants.
Morgan Stanley previously only required employees in certain areas of the company to be fully vaccinated to return to the office.
The Financial Times quoted company notes and was first reported by Morgan Stanley on Tuesday. To enter the New York City and Westchester County company workspaces, employees, clients, and visitors in the New York area must be fully vaccinated.
