Nashville, Tennessee (WSMV)-The parties met for a public debate Wednesday night after claiming that the rental company was driving dozens of tenants out of Nashville apartments without proper notice. ..
A representative of the rental company that owns the mosaic apartment spoke to the tenant’s audience with the help of an interpreter.
They said there was false information and false alarms, and that there were no plans for mass eviction.
Instead, representatives said tenants of units affected by the March flood sewage damage would be temporarily relocated until the necessary repairs were completed.
Currently, a total of 33 units are being worked on, and the family will be able to return to the units once the repairs are complete.
“For your health and safety, some of you-some of you, but not all of you-temporarily from those units to perhaps a mosaic vacant unit or sister facility 4-6 It needs to be transferred for a week, “said the representative.
Residents told News4 that they were still frustrated and confused and received various messages from the apartment owners.
