Tampa, Florida — From Pong to Ms. Pac-Man, from Halo to Minecraft, MOSI’s new “Video Game Revolution” exhibition Is a hands-on history lesson with plenty of free gameplay.
“We have integrated the game as part of society,” says Anthony Pelaez, Senior Director of Exhibition and Innovation at MOSI. “I think it’s time to consider the positive things it has brought.”
From the huge Space Invaders game when you first set foot to the glittering arcade-style games of the 1980s, the exhibits combine education and technology, giving kids the opportunity to play their parents’ video games ( Or vice versa).
An inspiring moment on Instagram is a museum-style presentation of the beloved gaming system (see Atari 2600).
“Video Game Revolution” is included in the MOSI admission fee.
