A young man died when a motorcycle crashed into a truck on North Long Beach on Monday night, police said.

At around 6:50 pm, Long Beach police said they answered a phone call regarding a motorcycle and truck-related injured car accident on Long Beach Boulevard and Del Amo Boulevard. When police arrived, they found an injured motorcyclist, a 22-year-old Compton resident, and transferred him to a local hospital in danger. He died later, police said.

According to police, a 29-year-old man from Long Beach traveled east on the 1997 Chevrolet S10 truck, turned left into a parking lot, and traveled west on Del Amo Fashion Center. I attacked the motorcyclist who was there. ..

Authorities said the driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation, noting that he did not believe that driving obstacles or inattentiveness were the cause of the collision.

Authorities have not yet publicly identified motorcyclists.
