Virginia Beach, Virginia (WAVY) — After a collision of two vehicles at Virginia Beach on Tuesday afternoon, one driver had to land sideways and then be released from the vehicle.

According to a Virginia Beach Fire post, multiple vehicles collided at 5400 blocks on the Indian River Road around 3:50 pm on Tuesday.

When they arrived at the scene, fire officials reported seeing one of the vehicles involved on that side. The fire brigade worked to stabilize the vehicle and disembark passengers.

The driver was eventually removed from the vehicle and handled on-site by members of VBEMS. Authorities say the patient refused further medical care.
