Tucson, Arizona (KGUN) — Mountain lions have successfully crossed the Oracle Road in the Oro Valley this week, thanks to an underpass under a busy highway.
Tucson’s Arizona Game and Fish division says the animals were captured by a game camera using the Oro Valley wildlife crossing. It’s the first time I’ve seen a mountain lion use that intersection, including an elevated road.
According to AZGFD, the lion was heading east just north of Catalina State Park.
