Brrrrrrrr! After spending a weekend a little closer to summer, winter is back!

Temperatures are highest today in the thirties and a few lows in the forties, through plains with cloudy skies and refreshing daytime conditions.

It stays dry in southern Colorado today, but tonight and Tuesday it will snow in the central and western mountains. There is a smooth drive west of Georgetown on I-70 tonight and Tuesday.

Colorado Springs: High: 35; Low: 24. Today is mostly cloudy, cold, refreshing and the sky is dry from afternoon to evening.

PUEBLO: High: 39; Low: 22. Today is mostly cloudy, cold, dry and with a weak breeze.

Canon City: high: 40; Low: 30. Today is almost cloudy and chilly, with a breeze and a dry sky.

Woodland Park: high: 46; Low: 28. It’s almost cloudy and cold today, and the sky is dry and refreshing.

Try Lake: high: 30s; Low: 20’s. Today it is mostly cloudy, windy, cold and the sky is dry.

plane: high: Forties; Low: 20’s. Today is partly sunny and cold, with refreshing conditions and a dry sky.

Walsenberg / Trinidad: high: Forties; Low: 20’s. It’s refreshing and cold today, and it’s mostly cloudy and dry during the day.

Mountain: High: Forties; Low: 20’s. It’s cloudy and cold today, and the sky dries in the afternoon. Snow travels to the western and central mountains overnight until Tuesday, with some light accumulating on the summit of the Sangredecrist until Tuesday.

Expanded outlook:
Tuesdays are cloudy in the morning and sunny and hot in the afternoon. It’s still snowing over the mountains on Tuesday morning, but you can expect a dry sky overnight.

Refreshing and warm conditions until mid-week increase the risk of fire throughout the plain, especially Thursday afternoon.

Early Friday and Saturday mornings, it can snow in the eastern mountains and the I-25 Corridor. Most of the snow on Fridays and Saturdays falls on the central mountains, but light can accumulate primarily along the I-25 above 6,000 feet above sea level.
