Honolulu (KHON2) — A motorcyclist died in a deadly collision on the North Shore.
On May 24, the Honolulu Police Station received a call for a major car crash in the Haleiwa area at around 5:40 pm. Three vehicles were involved. HPD reported that a 40-year-old woman was heading south on the Honda Civic Kamehameha Highway when she rear-ended a 54-year-old man and her passenger, a 54-year-old woman, at Harley-Davidson. ..
The motorcycle then rear-ended the Dodge Van.
The two on their bikes were taken to the hospital in a critical situation. The passenger died due to an injury. At the time of the accident, both of them were wearing helmets.
This is the 20th road fatalities on Oahu this year. This is also compared to last year’s 20.
