‘Multiple people’ shot at Buffalo, New York, supermarket – Kansas City, Missouri

Buffalo, NY (AP) — Several people were shot dead in a supermarket in Buffalo, NY.

Police there said Saturday afternoon that the suspect’s shooter had been detained.

Details of the number of people shot at Tops Friendly Markets and their condition were not immediately available.

Police officers did not immediately respond to the message asking for comment.

Governor Kathy Hokul tweeted that she “is closely watching the shootings at the Buffalo grocery store.” She said state officials provided support to local governments.
