Gladstone, Missouri (KCTV)-A man was charged with murder after a body was found in his apartment on a fire on Saturday.

23-year-old Noah Cole was charged Wednesday in Clay County with one murder, an armed criminal procedure, one arson, and one robbery. These charges are related to a fire at London Towers Apartments in Gladstone.

According to court documents, a fire in Gladstone broke out in the complex after seeing smoke coming out of the apartment. When the firefighters entered the apartment, the dead man had multiple puncture wounds on his body and appeared to be on fire. Multiple items of the victim were missing from the apartment.

Cole was determined to be a suspect and a search warrant for his residence was obtained. In the dwelling, the victim’s belongings, bloody clothes and knives were found.

Cole faces life imprisonment without parole and has additional time for one murder and other charges. His deposit was set at $ 1,000,000.
