Nashville high school students install glow in the dark crosswalks on Dickerson Pike | Davidson County – Nashville-Davidson, Tennessee

Nashville, Tennessee (WSMV)-Some high school students in Nashville are taking the initiative to make the streets safer for pedestrians.

Work begins on Sunday and continues along Dickerson Pike and Hart Lane on Monday. Teens are shining on a dark pedestrian crossing.

The Nashville Youth Design Team said this is one of the most dangerous intersections for pedestrians in the city.

Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet School Junior Jospe Jaikai said:

Teens test a new pedestrian crossing on a walk starting at 6 pm on Monday.
