Nashville, Tennessee (WKRN) – Three men have been charged with commercial sex trafficking after an undercover investigation in Nashville.
Gabriel Soto, 33, Kendal Kendrick, 28, and Arthur Barnett, 51, were all imprisoned in Metro Prison for a felony on Wednesday.
According to each arrest affidavit, metro police said the man responded to erotic advertisements on the Internet and contacted an undercover investigator who had portrayed himself as 16 years old.
Police said the suspect subsequently appeared at a hotel in Davidson County. Soto gave the undercover investigator $ 80 for sexual services. Kendrick agreed to pay $ 160 an hour with the police. Burnett entered the hotel room for $ 294 to exchange for sex.
All three have been detained at the hotel and charged with trafficking in commercial sexual activity. Each of them had a bond set at $ 20,000.
News 2 is working to find out if the case was part of a larger operation by a local law enforcement agency. Earlier this year Seventeen men were charged with trafficking in MNPD.
