Nashville, TN (WSMV)-Titans wide receiver AJ Brown has a unique relationship with Nashville painters.
Local artist Sarah Beth Bills paints on canvas, making her more like an artist than an athlete. But it made no difference in her connecting with the Titans wide receiver.
Brown painted a portrait of the player for his brother because the Titans football star is his favorite player. For some reason, Brown saw his painting on Facebook and loved it.
Brown contacted Bills to meet her and her brother and ask if he could sign his own original portrait.
Kristian Fulton, a cornerback of the Tennessee Titans, has opened a creative space in Nashville called “The Trench” to support the aspiring creators of Nashville.
After they met, Brown asked Bills to do another portrait of himself holding his baby daughter.
Bills accepted the offer and told News4 that he hopes this unique opportunity will lead to future projects.
“I hope this leads to reaching out to other Titans players and asking them to do other portraits,” Bills said.
