Nashville, Tennessee. (WSMV) – The Nashville Symphony Orchestra performed at Schermerhorn for the first time in 18 months.
“Fanfare for Music City” is the name of the opening round and filled the Symphony Hall with the majestic sounds of Grammy-winning musicians. After months of challenge, they said they were ready to return to the stage.
Alan Valentine, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Nashville Symphony Orchestra, said: “We know that our musicians are also experiencing such an uplifting feeling of playing together as an ensemble on stage, so I think it will be absolutely pure magic tonight.”
To enter, guests had to show that they were vaccinated or had a negative COVID test. And everyone needs to wear a mask.
