Omaha, Nebraska (KMTV) —Astronauts on the International Space Station took time to answer student questions, including questions from students here in Omaha.

When asked if the space station would hit an object in space, the astronaut replied that he could occasionally hit a small object and move the station as needed.

The teacher says this rare opportunity was an incredible science class for her students.

“Especially, I think it’s great to be here in Nebraska to be able to do this. They also had a panel discussion and one of the women said,” Think outside the box. ” You don’t have to leave Nebraska to do such a cool thing. I think it’s great for everyone, “said Diana Maren, a teacher at St. Stephen’s Matha Catholic School.
