Forward Jeff Green will be available on Sunday in Game 4 of Brooklyn Nets’ second round series against Milwaukee Bucks.
Green, 34, hasn’t played after defeating the Boston Celtics 130-108 on May 25 in Game 2 of the first round series with tension in the left sole fascia. Green scored an average of 4.5 points in the first two games against the Celtics.
In 68 regular season matches in his first campaign against Nets, Green averaged 11 points, 3.9 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 49.2% off-floor shots.
The Celtics’ fifth overall pick in the 2007 NBA Draft, Green, was soon traded to the Seattle SuperSonics at the time, playing in 10 teams in a 13-year NBA career. In 976 career regular season games, Green averaged 12.8 points, 4.4 rebounds and 1.6 assists, shooting 44.4 percent from the field and 34 percent from across the arc.
In other injury news, James Harden hasn’t played in Game 4 against Bucks due to a right hamstring injury. Harden hasn’t played since he was injured 43 seconds after Game 1, where Nets won 115-107.
