Las Vegas (KTNV) —The summer season is here. So people around Las Vegas want to get out and cool off in the pool.
We have released and continue to raise capacity limits, but there are still limits we need to know before going out to the public pool.
According to the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), COVID-19 cannot survive in properly disinfected pools.
Therefore, be prepared on your way to the public pool. Coronaviruses cannot survive in these areas, but there are still government obligations.
Since the beginning of April, Clark County has enforced a capacity of 100 visitors with a duty of mask and social distance.
Clark County emphasizes that it arrives within 5 minutes of booking and is ready to depart at the end of the time frame.
The city of Las Vegas has similar rules. For indoor pools such as pavilions and municipal pools, a mask is required when not underwater.
