Emporia, Kansas (KSNW) – The Kansas Board has appointed Kenhash as President of Emporia State University.
The board nominated Hash as interim president of Emporia State University on 17 November 2021 after former president Allison Garrett resigned. He will soon assume the role of permanent president of the university.

Hash graduated from Emporia State University and was appointed to the ESU Athletic Hall of Honor in 1995. He previously chaired the ESU Foundation Council and the Wichita State University Council.
