Santa Ana, CA (April 20, 2021) – With Orange County Orange County (OC) Relationship Committee Inviting the general public to participate Working together on race-based hatred, A series of virtual stakeholder input meetings focused on racism in the Orange County community. These meetings are in response to the OC Supervisory Board, which unanimously approves a resolution of solidarity to condemn all hate crimes and cases.

Virtual meetings are open to all members of the general public. Translators can attend each conference in Spanish, Vietnamese, Korean, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese.

When: Community Leader Meeting (Choose one)

• Friday, April 23, 2021 from 9 am to 10:30 am
• Monday, April 26, 2021 from 5 pm to 6:30 pm
Community-at-Large Meetings (Choose one)
• Tuesday, April 27, 2021 from 9 am to 10:30 am
• Thursday, April 29, 2021 from 5 pm to 6:30 pm

Preliminary data show that Orange County Asian Americans are experiencing a 10-fold increase in hate crimes and hate incidents. The OC Human Relations Commission wants to hear from residents on how to deal with and end racial prejudice and hatred in Orange County.
