Robstown Outlet Mall’s new permanent vaccination clinic is for county people who find it difficult to get to Corpus Christi for a vaccine.

Corpus Christi, Texas — Corpus Christi of the Nueces County Health Department has announced that it will open another permanent vaccination clinic, as vaccination rates in the county are still below 50%.

The new clinic is in Robstown.

“Old Nike outlet store. In anticipation of the booster effect, we will open another vaccine clinic there,” said Dr. Kim Onuflak, Corpus Christi Neuses County Health Department.

According to Onufrac, the new permanent vaccination clinic at Robstown Outlet Mall is for people in the county who find it difficult to get to Corpus Christi for vaccination.

“Originally we had a mask vaccination clinic in Robstown, so the Nike outlet is right there, so I thought it was a good way to get vaccinated even if we couldn’t go to the mall.” Said.

The new clinic will open on Monday, September 20th, Monday to Saturday from 12:00 pm to 7:00 pm. In addition, the clinic is open Sundays from 11am to 6pm.

Robstown itself has a vaccination rate of less than 50%, and Onufrac said it is important to serve areas in need.

“We want to target poorly serviced people and areas of distress, so we hope we can target that population at this clinic,” said Onufrac.

No reservation is required, but children aged 12 to 17 will need a parent to provide written consent for the child to take a shot.
